Company Profile

The Company has expanded significantly since it was founded in 1980 and is a major player in the housing refurbishment sector throughout the North East with turnover now approaching £11m p.a.

We directly employ over 80 people and believe passionately that a direct labour workforce gives the ultimate control over the quality of our product and services.

All our people have or are in the process of attaining the Construction Skill Certificate Scheme (CSCS) identification cards to give customers confidence in their skills.

We have extensive experience in partnering some of the largest social housing landlords and local authorities on major multi-£m refurbishment programmes.

To support our expansion and ensure our performance remains amongst the best in class we have achieved registration to ISO 9001:2000 for our Quality Management System and we are an Investor In People (IIP) as well as being full members of the professional bodies shown below.

Straightline Construction are registered / members of the above. The Company also has an Environmental Management System (EMS) to ISO 14001:1996 in operation and is actively seeking registration.
